Asian Art Museum

Asian Art Museum was founded more than 50 years ago.  The museum is  Located in the heart of San Francisco as home to one of the world’s finest collections of Asian art, boasting more than 18,000 awe-inspiring artworks ranging from ancient jades and ceramics to contemporary video installations. Asian Art Museum provides dynamic special exhibitions, cultural celebrations and public programs for all ages to explore rich art experiences from the past to the future.


The redesigned logo symbolizes the meaning of the universe, balance, and the world. The two circles reflect the Moon and the Sun, which complete the universe. The geometric shapes of the landscape represent the past, present, and future of Asian Art.
